Toyota number 254 in my quest to illustrate all 264 variants in the US. Not so easy to find a 5th-gen Celica convertible on IG, but finally dug one up over on @70hands. Only ten Toyotas left to reach my goal!
Check out @vector_garage for some sweet motorcycle illustrations. Here is your Maserati GranCabrio as a thank you for illustating all of my past bikes.
Again, it took me just about as long to find someone who owns a late-80s Celica convertible as it took me to illustrate it. These car's are out there, it just seems that nobody reps em! No matter, I found Isaac and his $540 clunker, but more importantly I stumbled onto his blog where he posts a ton of interesting old cars that he spots. oldcarhunt.wordpress.com if you want to check it out.
Uh Muh Guhd. As a kid I eschewed the typical Countach and Testarossa fantasies and instead had posters of the 427 Shelby Cobra wallpapering my bedroom walls. As an adult I acknowledge the awesomeness of the newest tech wonders: Maclarens, Paganis, Bugattis... but the classic proprtions and pure sexual attraction of a classically-designed exotic will always capture my heart. I saw this newest iteration of the Vanquish just the other day and I couldn't NOT include it in my project. Someone get me the box of tissues.
Again I scoured the Instagrams for an owner of a particular rare Toyota and came up empty-handed. Good for you, though, because this Celica Sunchaser, a truly rare car, is for sale at East Coast Toyota in New Jersey. Under 28,000 miles on this beauty and it's priced at $13,500.
Number 223 in my quest to illustrate every Toyota variant. Had to head to Japan to find an Instagrammer with a 6th-generation Celica convertible. @kn10_fgsm chose some Interesting Pontiac Vibe footwear. Man, I miss owning a convertible!
Posh. I've never used that word before in my life, but it sums up this Bentley in four letters. A friend of mine loaned me his Continental W12 last year and it was very pleasurable to drive. The torque is satisfying as fuck. So when my neighbor parked this GTC in front of her shop I had to take a moment to appreciate it.
I almost called you lucky, @westcoastspotting, but it wasn't luck that earned you this free illustration. It was skill. You correctly guessed five of my morning Sneak Peek hints and now you can forever cherish "Lyxiga" in your heart. I offer free illustrations to anyone who wins my daily game, or if you can't seem to guess quick enough then $100 and I'll push your car to the top of my list. Good luck!
