My buddy @vector_garage asked for a piece from one of his favorite movies in exchange for some beautiful motorcycle art. (Check out his IG for plenty of that!) Here's Marty McFly's silky black Toyota SR5 pickup from Back to the Future. I remember the nine-year-old me watching this movie for the first time in 1985 and falling in love with every car in the movie.

Brian shows off the favorite cars that he has owned at @briansautogarage and it's one of the more enjoyable explorations I've made lately. Every picture features a well-written caption and it was fun to compare thoughts as I bounced from photo to photo. This 81 pickup is his parts runner and has some cool stripes, so Ihad to choose it for today's 150th entry in my quest to illustrate every Toyota.
I was stumbling around Instagram and happened across @toyotatrucksdaily where this super clean '88 pickup was posted. Apparently @koolcat79 located this near-perfect longbed for his Pop and delivered it as an early birthday gift. What a son!
Sometimes I spend over an hour searching for a worthy Toyota to include in this project, and sometimes they fall in my lap. This beautiful pickup has been carefully crafted by @austinwtoler and since he guessed five of my daily hints correctly he earns a slot in history. Not only that, but his pickup will also be immortalized in sticker form. Can't wait!
Almost every single Japanese vehicle imported into the US came through west coast ports. Combine that with low humidity and mild temps, and you have a treasure trove of vintage Japanese metal still driving around. Stopped by the grocery store yesterday and this sweet little flatbed Hilux was parked next to me when I walked out. How could I NOT include this gem?
I'm doing a series of Toyota crawlers for the guys over at pirate4x4.com and the first chosen is this first-year Xtracab pickup owned by forum member NorIdaWheeler.
