Last week @booby1178 won the Sneak Peek and earned a free illustration of his beautiful C280. You could win your own art by guessing at the daily Sneak Peek showing a clue of the following day's illustration. Can't seem to win? My $100 commission fee includes a high-quality photo print suitable for framing (up to 13x19" / US S&H inc). Check my bio for more info.
This monster is just badass. No other way to describe it. 507hp out of the naturally-aspirated 6.2L V8, and that engine has vanished from the MB lineup since this Edition 507 was sold. Here ya go @itsjoshyscar507!
WIth all of the hype over the Tesla's falcon wing doors, I wanted to reflect on the original gullwing door, made popular by Mercedes on their early 1950's race cars. While of the 300SL production line churned out mostly silver and white bodies, a few special order colors survived the test of time. Check out this cyan beauty. Not a color I would have chosen, but it sure is beautiful now!
I'm on a mission with this project and it often means that I have to draw a car that I'm not exicted about (1980 Corona anyone?) but sometimes I take a day for myself. Today is that day. What a beautiful car, the AMG GT. Somehow it's saturated with sex appeal but remains masculine in it's proportions. Someone drop this car off for me to keep. Please?
Every city has that trashy thoroughfare where all of the used car lots seem to congregate. Well, I live just one long block from that stretch in Portland, so I'm used to seeing the ex-rental cars and (it IS Portland) Subaru wagons piled up on cracked asphalt expanses. One lot suddenly had this AWESOME Unimog parked among the lesser ex-fleet cars and I couldn't resist snapping some photos. Check this bad boy out. I'm tempted to make an offer.
On day six of this project I illustrated my friend's Wrangler and today I'm memorializing his G-Wagon. Vlad had been lusting after many a Gelandewagen and only recently did he find the right one for him. The supercharged 5.5L V8 pushes over 500hp to all four wheels, which it needs to push all of that air out of the way.
Commission 12/26 (car #26/26) for Doug S in Portland OR. Now living a life of leisure and sailing as often as possible, this rig is perfect for driving across the country with sailboat in tow.
Commission 10/26 (car #10/26) for Doug S in Portland OR. After owning his 1960 190D, Doug and his wife drove a complimentary pair of MGs, but then they went back to a more practical sedan with this classically-finned W110.
