Number 251 out of 263 (I recounted more accurately if you've been following along) in my quest to illustrate every Toyota variant sold in the states. Only twelve left! Today we visit Indonesia where @ntunk_retrosyndicate rips around in this little shark-mouthed, Hayashi-Streeted Corolla sedan.
Toyota number 246 in my quest to illustrate every variant ever sold in the US. Let's say hi to @sancho_kac and his Celica liftback. It looks like a work in progress and I'll be following along to see how it turns out.
@singervehicledesign takes a beautiful car and polishes it to perfection. This 911 Targa has been restored to a better-than-new state. Illustrated at the request of @vector_garage who is in the middle of drawing my own collection of motorcycles. Go check out his IG feed and marvel at the beauty within.
Another Sneak Peek game winner! Congrats to @bradbentonn for his persistence in guessing every morning until he earned five points. He chose to have his Mada 3 illustrated, and if you win then you can choose to have your own car featured on IDYC. Good luck!
I went searching for the most beautiful Celica I could find and this is, without a doubt: The. Car. @chriskim_seacret, mad props and enjoy the art. This is number 215 in my quest to illustrate every Toyota variant to land on US soil.
Number 213 in my quest to illustrate every Toyota, Lexus and Scion ever sold in the US. Just seven Lexii left on my list after completing @mattmatuszak_sucks's second-gen ES. I've always thought that this was by far the most handsome early Lexus design and Matt isn't standing still... I like his third-gen front bumper conversion, football-lace-style!
Toyota number 209 in my quest to illustrate every body style. There aren't many third-gen Tacomas sold in Access Cab configuration, so it was a little trickier to find a unique one. Finally discovered @mainlineoverland and their range of swappable toppers that include this sweet camper.
I'm digging deeper and deeper to finish my project to illustrate every Toyota to hit our shores. Number 194 on my list is the second-generation Corona MKII wagon. This is a rare car, but @j.t.rex doesn't let that slow him down. Perfect patina, some pro-street-style staggered wheels and the appropriate stance, but only those in the know would turn their heads and that's how he likes it.
