Number 229 out of 264 Toyota variants knocked from the list. @n.k_crown proudly rocks this Crown wagon and judging from the photos on his Instagram account he displays her at every show in the Shizuoka prefecture of Japan, and beyond.
I'm going wagon happy this week. Third vintage Toyota wagon I've done in the last seven days and number 188 in my quest to illustrate every Toyota sold in the states. Featured today is the third-generation Crown wagon running around South Australia by @_brokenrecord.
Staying local today, fellow Portland resident @markpanic brought his old RT105 for a few photos. It's got a 3S-GTE swap pushing 330hp at the rear wheels and wears some pretty SSR Longchamps. It leaves long black stripes.
As I start getting down to the last hundred Toyotas to finish my project I'm finding it harder and harder to find owners of the rarer models. You don't get too much rarer than a 1st-gen Corona MKII wagon, but i was able to dig up @macho_tech and his super clean grocery getter. Bonus points for the immaculate 22-RE under the hood!
I'm helping @pakandcheese imagine an end game today. His RT93 (I know, I know, a accidentally drew an RT95) is sitting unfinished in a friend's yard, with most of a year's dust on the faded paint. To be fair, he has plenty of other projects ahead of this one, but I couldn't help but feel a little frustration on his end. Andrew, I hope this lights a little fire under your ass.
I was actually looking for a lifted Tacoma when I happened across this bagged Tacoma owned by @ther3dbaron. The patina hooked me and I wanted to try to replicate it using vector... not totally excited about how it turned out, but dammit, it's good enough. Red Baron, what do ya think?
Brian shows off the favorite cars that he has owned at @briansautogarage and it's one of the more enjoyable explorations I've made lately. Every picture features a well-written caption and it was fun to compare thoughts as I bounced from photo to photo. This 81 pickup is his parts runner and has some cool stripes, so Ihad to choose it for today's 150th entry in my quest to illustrate every Toyota.
Follow the adventures of @sandstormyota in his 2016 Tacoma. Over 200 photos of the Sandstorm beast in deserts, mud and mountains. I truly don't know if I've ever happened across someone so passionate about their rig. Great photography, too!
