Scratch the Cressida off my list of Toyotas because @be4ver's wagon is the last one. This marks 244 variants out of 260. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter! Adam, I hope you don't mind that I installed matching wheels and buffed out the paint a little.
Another commission for the excellent motorcycle artist @vector_garage.
Now that was interesting. I was sure that Instagram would never reveal to me a Corona liftback owner, but within seconds I found @ashleyantilles and her perfectly-preserved flashback of the early 80s. Not only that, she 's practically a neighbor. Small world.
Number 242 in my quest to illustrate every Toyota variant sold in the US is @el_tipico's rad and ratted out little Corolla wagon.
@singervehicledesign takes a beautiful car and polishes it to perfection. This 911 Targa has been restored to a better-than-new state. Illustrated at the request of @vector_garage who is in the middle of drawing my own collection of motorcycles. Go check out his IG feed and marvel at the beauty within.
We are still months away from seeing the new Camry on the road, but not too early to feature it here. Let's spin the color wheel... looks like blue today! This knocks the last Camry from my list of every Toyota to illustrate.
Before starting this project I gad never heard of overlanding was, but now that I've illustrated several overland rigs I'm officially intrigued. It looks like @overlandbound has really nailed the concept on its head. Today's drawing marks the 240th Toyota variant in my quest to illustrate all 260 sold in the US since 1958. Only twenty left, then I might take a small break since I've been pumping these profiles out daily for the past 410 days. Or, I might not. Thanks to @trailborn_yota for throwing me the line on this one.
Again, it took me just about as long to find someone who owns a late-80s Celica convertible as it took me to illustrate it. These car's are out there, it just seems that nobody reps em! No matter, I found Isaac and his $540 clunker, but more importantly I stumbled onto his blog where he posts a ton of interesting old cars that he spots. oldcarhunt.wordpress.com if you want to check it out.
